If voter suppression and ID laws are called ‘Jim Crow 2.0,’ than these secessionists are blatant ‘3.0.’ (They like where they are, so white flight isn’t an option.)
As is often the case, here are white supremacists trotting out those lines about, “What’s wrong with wanting” this or that…thin cover stories that are as obvious as winks. (This one is so they can have their own town with it’s own government, in order to score…a Cheesecake Factory.) (Yes, go ahead and laugh.)
The article warns that secessionists never quit trying. But perhaps it’s a matter of finding the right counter-tactic. For example, maybe local taxes will need to be raised. Maybe they will, unfortunately, fall much more heavily on some areas than others, rather expensively. Those members of this affluent white supremacist cluster who don’t outright go insane can become busy on this new issue, instead.
