Funny thing about @nurxapp – since I see that they help with not only women & #affordable #birthcontrol but the #LGB community with #PreP as well… Why not see if they can help with #HRT #medication & #prescriptions as well, since many of the products #cisgender people use in birth control are the same for the #transgender community. Given their support with #PreP, I figured they were #trans friendly as well considering many of us are on limited or no insurance atm… Boy was I wrong. I explained who and what I am in my application, yet I was #misgendered, called a man and more… And once I advised I had screengrabs they stopped responding. A bit off… Don’t you think? Maybe the #ACLU & #Glaad needs involved here… #lgbt #lgbtq #lgbtqia #transrights

Crystal Labeija

Competing regularly in Drag competitions ruled by white men where black queens had to lighten their looks, Crystal saw a need for something. Something where the black and latinx queer and trans people could thrive, be celebrated for their beauty and have fun doing it. She is the reason why Ballroom is what it is today. She is the reason why we have houses. She is the reason we will continue to do what we do.
